Our next guest announcement for summer 2020's edition of TFNation is another returning presence from the world of comics: please welcome back superstar artist on Transformers, Optimus Prime, Death's Head and more - Kei Zama!
Zama has been part of the IDW family of artists for the past five years, and is a fan-favourite presence at our event - and in the comics world - working on covers for Windblade, More Than Meets the Eye, Optimus Prime, and interiors for the latter and Transformers: Unicron in the previous narrative universe. They are still providing their gritty, ink-heavy talent on covers for the current IDW Transformers universe, and with the Japanese translations of the books as they make it across the ocean, as seen on Megatron: Origin.
Outside of Transformers, but only just tangentially so, Zama has provided art for 2000AD's ABC Warriors and Judge Dredd book, and worked on the IDW series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and Atomic Robo. You may also find their visual skills in several Marvel books, such as Scarlet Witch and the latest series for Death's Head. They have also recently been announced as taking on art duties for an IDW Publishing mini-series Judge Dredd: False Witness, due to start publication this March. Rock on, yes?
