Travelling by Road

Travelling South, from the North West: Take the M61 southbound until exit 2, then follow A580 (which merges with A6 Chapel Street).  At the junction with Trinity Way, turn right and cross the river, then turn right again onto Water Street.  The venue entrance is ahead of you on your right.

Travelling South, from the North East: Take the M62 Southbound (which merges with M60) until Exit 17, then take the A56/Bury New Road. (which merges with Great Ducie Street)/ At the junction with Trinity Way, turn right and cross the river. Follow Trinity Way (which Merges with Irwell Street and New Quay Street) until you cross the river again, then turn right onto Water Street. The venue entrance is ahead of you on your right.

Travelling North, from the South: Take the M56/Princess Road. At the end of M56/Princess Road, turn left onto  A57/Mancunian Way.  Follow onto Trinity Way. At the junction with Irwell Street, turn right and cross the river, then turn right again onto Water Street.  The venue entrance is ahead of you on your right.

Parking

On-Site Parking: The hotel has a small on-site car park, with 15 spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Overnight parking is available for residents at £20.00 per vehicle per night.  Day parking is available for £10.00 per vehicle per day.

Off-Site Parking: Additional parking is available at the nearby NCPs; Stanley Street, New Bailey and Spinningfields (these are all located within about a 5 minute walk of the hotel, with Spinningfields being the nearest). 

Parking Discount: There is a parking discount available for attendees using the nearby NCP carparks. Instructions to obtain the discount are as follows;

1. Download the NCP App;

2. Create an account;

3. Attach card details;

4. Complete account set-up and add vehicle registration;

5. Head to your profile and enter promo code MANCHESTERHOTELS

6. Start a session by choosing a location (eg: Spinningfields);

7. Press "Park Now", and choose the length of time to be parked;

8. You can either select pay now, or pay when you leave, through the app.

Travelling by Train

Manchester has great rail links and is accessible from all parts of the UK. The following are the most convenient railway stations for your visit;

• 9 minutes walk from Salford Central station;
• 15 minutes walk from Deansgate station;
• 20 minutes walk from Manchester Oxford Road station;
• 23 minutes walk from Manchester Victoria station;
• 30 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly station (also see "Bee Network" below);

"Bee Network" - Free Busses around Manchester

Manchester has a network of free buses which can take you around the city. Running every 10 minutes, you can catch a free bus from Manchester Piccadilly station to Quay Street, which is just around the corner from the Marriott Victoria & Albert.

All free Bee Network busses are wheelchair-friendly.

Travelling by Air

You can take the train from Manchester Airport directly to Deansgate Station from which the hotel is a 15 minute walk.
