TFN: SWINDON
WHERE TO FIND US

Greetings, TFNationals!

With TFN: Swindon now right around the bend, we thought it may be useful to give you all some visual pointers on how to enter the convention on the day.

If you're travelling to the venue by bus, there are multiple stops nearby the museum. The most preferable stop to use, however, would be the Great Western Outlet Village stop on Penzance Drive.

If you're travelling by train, Swindon Railway Station is only a short walk away. Located about halfway between Central London and Cardiff, Swindon Railway Station boasts great and direct travel options, with both London Paddington and Cardiff Central just under an hour away.

The station also has great links to Reading, Bristol Temple Meads, Gloucester, and Cheltenham Spa. Even attendees joining us from the North have a variety of good options available to them.

If you're travelling by car, there are a few ways to get to the venue depending on which direction you are coming from.

From London: Join the M4 and travel West. Exit at Junction 16 onto Great Western Way. Continue straight on past five roundabouts until you reach Kemble Drive. At the mini roundabout, take the second exit to continue briefly along Kemble Drive before turning right onto Fire Fly Avenue. The venue is directly in front of you.

From the North: Follow the M5 South. Exit at Junction 11A onto the A417. Continue all the way to The Air Balloon Roundabout near Ullenwood Cricket Ground and take the second exit to continue along the A417, which eventually merges with the A419 through Seven Bridges, where the road continues onto the Blunsdon Bypass. Turn right briefly onto the B4019 flyover and immediately turn left onto the B4534, also called Lady Lane, then down Thamesdown Drive onto Cricklade Road. Turn right onto Whitworth Road. Turn left onto Cherry Manor Road. Continue straight on through Vicarage Road, which becomes Cherry Manor Road and then Rodbourne Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kemble Drive. At the mini roundabout, take the second exit to continue briefly along Kemble Drive before turning right onto Fire Fly Avenue. The venue is directly in front of you.

Parking: Please note that there is no visitor parking on site, however parking for disabled visitors is available. Visitor parking is provided by the nearby Swindon Designer Outlet, which is only a five minutes' walk from the museum. You can find out more about these car parks through the STEAM Museum's website, here.

When you have arrived to the STEAM Museum, you'll want to head through the glass doors just beneath the large STEAM banners.

Once inside the foyer, please go into the left hand door labelled 'NO ENTRY', as below:

Once you're through these doors, just follow Genny's signs until you reach the TFN registration desk!

We cannot wait to see you all at TFN: Swindon! Please travel safely!

(Please note: TFN:Swindon is a limited capacity event; all convention areas are subject to capacity limits and all advertised guests, traders, Forge artists, panels and activities are subject to change without notice. Terms and Conditions of sale apply on this small world and all others, even those in danger of going off the Rails!)
