TFN:Mini-Con® Manchester Updates
Calling all TFNationals - it's time to talk!
TFN:HQ has been quiet for a little while, whilst the team's been busy working away on our 2024 events. Today, we have some important updates to share and we'll start with TFN:Mini-Con® Manchester;
NEW VENUE: MANCHESTER MARRIOTT VICTORIA & ALBERT HOTEL
TFN:Mini-Con® Manchester will be taking place at a new venue in 2024!
Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel is a Green Key certified property located in the Spinningfields district of Manchester City Centre.
Located off of Quay Street, the Marriott Victoria & Albert is just a short stroll from the City's main shopping districts. It's well-placed for nearby (10 mins) restaurants, bars, shops and a cinema.
The Marriott Victoria & Albert is a short walk from several railway stations including Salford Central (9 mins), Deansgate (15 mins), Manchester Oxford Road (20 mins) and Manchester Victoria (23 mins). (Manchester Piccadilly station is about a 30 minute walk away and has many connecting services to the more closely positioned stations if preferred).
There are several parking options nearby, including Manchester Spinningfields NCP which is conveniently just across Quay Street.
The venue boasts a great restaurant and bar area, riverside views, and is fully wheelchair-accessible with all TFNation function spaces being located on the ground floor (accessible bedrooms are positioned on the first floor, accessible via lift).
We think TFNationals will love this new venue and can't wait to welcome you along! We're incredibly grateful to our friends at both Marriott Victoria & Albert and the Manchester Piccadilly Hotel for assisting us with this relocation for 2024!
BEDROOMS & PARKING
As with last year's TFN:Mini-Con®, this is a single-day event and as such there is no convention overnight rate; however, the Marriott Victoria & Albert is kindly setting up a special discount for TFNationals, which can be used to receive a 10%-20% discount on prices depending on the time of booking.
Bedrooms can also be booked directly on the hotel's website, or via comparison sites. Marriott hotels occasionally have sales, so keep an eye on rates.
Of course, Manchester City Centre is a hotel-rich area, so there are many alternatives if you decide not to stay on-site, including, of course, the Manchester Piccadilly Hotel which we used last year.
The venue has limited parking which is available on a first-come, first-served basis; however, TFNationals will be entitled to use a special discount code to pre-book parking at nearby NCP car parks.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets for TFN:Mini-Con® Manchester will be released for sale at 12:00pm (GMT) on Saturday 6th January 2024.
Last year's event was a total sell-out, so if you're interested in attending, we would urge you to book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

We'd also like to give you some updates on our big summer event, TFNation 2024!
VENUE
In 2024, TFNation will once again be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, situated near to the NEC in Birmingham.
TICKETS & BEDROOMS
Tickets for TFNation 2024 will be released for sale at 12:00pm (GMT) on Saturday 3rd February 2024.
Information about TFNation discounted-rate Hilton Bedrooms will be announced in due course, with bedroom sales commencing for ticket-holders in March 2024. Stay tuned for further details!
FEEDBACK SURVEY COMPETITION WINNER
We'd like to take this opportunity to send a huge thank you to everybody who took the time to complete our annual TFNation feedback questionnaire. We're always keen to improve our events in any way possible - your feedback has been incredibly helpful and we hope you'll enjoy some of the changes we'll be making in 2024 as a direct result of your input!
We'd also like to send our congratulations to Paul from Cardiff, who was drawn as the lucky ticket winner following our survey prize draw! We've already made contact with Paul and will be arranging delivery of his tickets shortly.
