Roberts has been recognised as the fan-favourite - and award winning - writer from the previous incarnation of the IDW Transformers universe, and is know for his penchant for political issues, representation attempts, and humanising 'robot' characters. While no longer writing for our favourite Cybertronians, his skills have recently been spotted in IDW Publishing's comics mini-series based on the eponymous RPG, Starcadia Quest.
He has been part of the Transformers UK landscape since the very early days, and is one of the many fans who were able to make it into 'canonical', professional side of the franchise, helping to lift the profile of license-based media into the mainstream reader's radar. He also has intense opinions about butter.
