TFN:HQ has a special transmission for all attendees – the time has come to announce 2019’s schedule of events!
This year’s schedule is like none before and for good reason. TFNation has undergone a transformation over the last twelve months. With a view to making the convention bigger and better than ever before, we are thrilled to announce some important new facilities we have secured for our attendees.
- We have doubled the area of Europe’s largest Transformers trading area, which now encompasses the majority of the Metropole’s gigantic Monarch Suite.
- Fan favourite crafts area "The Forge" now takes centre stage in the main hall, better celebrating the amazing work of our arts and crafts community.
- Reduced background noise during talks, as TFNation will now boast two dedicated panel rooms. Our main stage will relocate to the massive Kings Suite; the home of Clubcon. More intimate panels will be held in the atmospheric Pavilion Room.
- For those who didn’t know, some of the halls within the Metropole literally transform. We have employed the Hilton’s best T-cog technology to create a new room to the rear of the Kings Suite. This new area will play host to our TF Trading Card games across the weekend.
- On Saturday evening, weekend ticket holders will be treated to the delights of our Clubcon entertainment, located within the Kings Suite.
- This year we will also be hosting the Gundam Wing within the Warwick Suite, near to the main hall. More information coming soon.

Friday (Weekend Ticket Holders ONLY - No trading)
- Ticket collection and merchandise desks (located outside of the Pavilion) opens at 10am and closes at 9pm.
- Daytime panels start at 12 Noon until 5pm (Pavilion)
- Evening panels run 6:30pm until 11pm (Pavilion)
Saturday (Weekend and Saturday Ticket Holders + On The Door)
- Registration Desk Opens 8:30am and closes at 4pm (located outside of the Monarch Suite)
- Opening Ceremony - 9am (Kings)
- Trading Hall Opens at 10am for Weekend Ticket Holders and 10:30am for Saturday ticket holders.
- Trading Hall closes at 4pm.
- Gundam Wing Opens 10am and closes at 4pm
- ClubCon opens at 6pm for Weekend ticket holders
Sunday (Weekend and Sunday Ticket Holders + On The Door)
- Registration Desk Opens 8:30am and closes at 2pm (located outside of the Monarch Suite)
- Trading Hall Opens at 10am and closes at 4pm for all ticket holders
- Gundam Wing Opens 10am and closes at 4pm.
For those who have not visited us before, please be aware that the Hilton Birmingham Metropole is an access enabled hotel. All of our event halls are located on the ground floor, with wheelchair friendly door ways.
