Operation: The artists and crafters of The Forge 


The Forge is TFNation's home for fan art and crafts, a specific area we have established for our creative attendees to promote, sell and display their work.

With applications closed, and the show just eight days away, we are pleased to be able to announce the full listing of artists and crafters who will be on display, in The Forge, for our inaugural event.

Artist Stalls

Abby Bulmer

Abby is a freelance cartoonist and colourist based in Manchester who, along with her husband, has produced illustration and colouring work for various magazines and comics for companies including Panini, GeFabbri and Rebellion and including licensed characters like The Powerpuff Girls and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Abby has recently been doing illustration work on the Moshi Monsters for Penguin, featured in the Music Island Book series. In addition she has also been working for 2000ad and is the colourist on Rok of the Reds, written by John Wagner and Alan Grant.

Rob "Khaosenvy" Coy

Rob is an artist whose work is mostly comic book based and very much influenced by his love for the Japanese Anime and Manga style. Also known in the community for his contributions to the Old Oil House podcast, Rob recently completed Resolisted Resolutions, a year-long art challenge over social media and organises the annual Lenten Experiment charity art sale. Khaosenvy holds a BA(Hons) in Multimedia Design and Digital Animation.

Paul Goodenough

Not only is Paul Goodenough the owner and CEO of both @Aerianstudios and @gbkhybrid, the writer for Dreamworks Dragons and the writer for The Chimeran (https://www.facebook.com/thechimeran) but he is also an Emmy nominated one at that. If you are interested in learning more about how to write comics, how to pitch ideas or just to discover what Paul has been up to, then drop by his stall within The Forge. Hinomars19

An anime/manga artist who currently takes on freelance and commission work, Hinomars19 is currently producing the manga project, Lejjender (http://hinomars19.deviantart.com/gallery/58097262/Lejjender).
A fan of Transformers, Anime, Manga, Super Sentai as well as Japanese drama and sci-fi, Hinomars19's favourite Transformers character is Hotrod.

Chris Phillips

Chris, also known as Demonology7789, is making the journey to TFNation from Scotland to take up residence in The Forge. A fan of Generation One and More Than Meets The Eye, as well as being self-professed Starscream guy, Chris' favourite style of art is Manga. Liam Shalloo

Liam has worked as a UK colourist for both IDW Publishing and Titan Comics and has worked professional on various Transformers projects since 2006. Liam's professional credits also include Spider-man, Dr Who and as a concept artist/designer for Sony Playstation. Liam has already opened his TFNation 2016 sketch list so get in touch with him today with your requests.

Nathan We66

Nathan We66's work covers a multitude of franchises and styles and frankly we could not cover it all here so instead we urge you to not only check out his stall within The Forge but also his online artwork. Nathan We66's Instgram account includes some step-by-step videos taking comic line art through to its finished format, a valuable tool for artists developing their own work.

Craft Stalls

Creations of Curiosity

The Creations of Curiosity are known for their hand made custom and printed fabric cushions based on children's favourite comic books, TV series and movie characters. They will be displaying these, along with their custom bags, at TFNation 2016.

Kaysiel and London

Kaysiel and London, of London's Robot Merch, shall be sharing a stall at TFNation 2016 full of amazing crafts including mugs, zippers, pins, caps, badges, notebooks, patches and pretty much anything else you can think of. These two ladies share a passion not only for Transfomers and crafts but also for the IDW More Than Meets The Eye series as is evident by their wares.

Ada S

Ada, AKA cronosiem, shall be selling her crafts at TFNation 2016 including badges and magnets of characters from the IDW Transformers series, Beast Wars, Transformers Animated, Prime, Rescue-Bots and the 2015 RiD animated series.
