Reading about robots is all well and good, but in over 40 years of the Transformers franchise, we know fans also love seeing the big robots looking good on screen and on paper. And TFNation tries to cater, where we can, to your visual desires – please welcome back one of our returning artist guests: Alex Milne!

Milne is a fiend with a marker, and a maestro with a pencil, and has been involved officially with Transformers since the fated days of Dreamwave with Transformers: Energon, and later with a whole range of IDW Publishing titles, from Megatron Origin to the live-action Paramount film adapations, to More than Meets the Eye and Lost Light, all the way up to Unicron and Fate of Cybertron. Think of any iconic character from the IDW run – he’s probably drawn them in more detail than you thought. He has also been involved in the likes of Rom Spaceknight, VR Troopers, and Mega Man X, as well as covers for several more publishers.
