The Transformers are famously about change, and spanning universes – narrative and literal – and always have been, since their first big arrival over 40 years ago. Lawrence is a big hit with Transformers comics readers, who came to know his work with IDW Publishing’s Lost Light, Wreckers – Tread and Circuits, War’s End, and a number of the various franchise crossovers, including My Little Pony, Star Trek, and the Valentine’s Day Special in 2020.
Outside of the Transformers, you will find Lawrence’s work on a variety of titles, including Lower Decks, Star Trek Celebrations, Sonic x Godzilla, covers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, tastefully drawn bots (if you ask him nicely) and most recently DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Animated Adventures Library Edition (along with some other guests of TFNation 2026!).
