Greetings TFNationals!
Over the next couple of days, we'll be posting some guides to assist you in getting ready for TFNation 2025 ticket sales opening at 12:00 (UK Time) on Saturday 1st February 2025.
Tomorrow we'll give a general reminder on how the website works, so you're not under any last minute stress. Today however, we're going to speak a little about our convention passes. We know a lot of people are interested in attending for the first time, so this will hopefully help you to understand how our tickets work compared to other events.
Individual Tickets
At TFNation, our tickets are broken down into individual days / segments. This means you have the flexibility to only buy tickets for the days you wish to attend, rather than having to buy an all inclusive pass. It also means you can decide whether to buy all of your tickets at once, or split them up to spread the cost over several months.
(Don't worry, if you do want everything there's a handy "Select All Tickets" button right next to the other options)
We'll now give you a little information about each of the tickets we offer.
Friday
This is our panel only day, where we host various talks and entertainment in our panel room whilst the Trader, Forge and Guest Autograph areas are being built for the weekend.
Lots of attendees like to book Friday to watch the panels, but likewise, there will also be lots of attendees in the bar socialising if you'd prefer to do a bit of both. (Exact panels will be announced nearer to the event).
Friday typically ends with a movie viewing with other fans, which can be a lot of fun.
Friday is a fully seated, theatre-style event and a great way to start the convention - but this does mean tickets are limited and can sell out quickly.
Saturday
Saturday is our first day of the entire event being open. This includes access to all daytime panels, the Forge, Guest Autograph area and Trader Hall.
Saturday morning is typically the busiest time of the convention, with highlights being our Opening Ceremony and the opening of the Trader Hall. It's always best to know this ahead of time, particularly if you do not like big crowds.
In addition to the main Saturday ticket, there are two optional Saturday add-on tickets available;
Saturday Plus Early Access
This allows you an extra hour in the Trader Hall in before doors open to general admission ticket holders.
The morning is very busy so if you are a big toy fan this might be for you - but if seeing the available toys first isn’t a huge part of your trip, then just buying the regular Saturday pass might be a better option for you.
Please Note - This pass also includes your main Saturday ticket - so you don’t need to buy both.
Saturday Evening Clubcon
This is our showcase evening event!
The exact entertainment changes each year but it tends to involve elements such as the Cosplay Parade, quizzes, a script reading and occasionally surprise or even musical type elements.
ClubCon is a fully seated, theatre-style event and is usually one of the highlights of TFN - but this does mean tickets are limited and can sell out quickly.
Please Note - You must hold a Saturday (or Saturday Plus Early Access) Pass to purchase the ClubCon add-on.
Sunday
Is similar to Saturday, with Forge, Guest Autograph area and Trader Hall all being open for the duration.
A particular highlight is our closing ceremony.
Please Note - There is just the standard Sunday ticket option.
A note on Autographs at TFNation
There are two ways to get an autograph from our guests at TFNation:
The first way is to go to the Trader Hall on either Saturday or Sunday. At the back of this hall you’ll find the Guest Autograph area. All guests will be here at various points through the weekend, and they will all sign 1 or 2 of your items at no additional cost.
Some guests may also be selling items at their table, such as sketches, signed artwork, photographs, selfies or voice recordings.
The Legend Pass
The second way is to purchase an optional add-on called The Legend Pass.
You'll find these towards the bottom of our ticket screen, with other add-ons like T-shirts. You choose the guest (limited to our main guests of honour) and the day. We'll then email you nearer to the convention telling you your exact timeslot.
You may simply choose one Legend Pass, or you may choose several if you wish to meet multiple guests over the weekend.
The pass includes a private meeting lasting a few minutes, a professional photograph, an autographed piece of artwork/headshot, an additional autograph on any item you wish to bring, and a souvenir ticket.
With autographs being included in your ticket price at TFNation, you do not need to purchase the Legends Pass for a chance to get an autograph. You are free to queue up in the Guest Autograph area and see if you are able to meet the guest for no additional purchase - just please be aware, all guests need breaks, so there is no guarantee they will be available when you are.
The Legend Pass is really for people who want to book a guaranteed slot to see a guest, rather than hoping to catch them in the busy Guest Autograph area. So if you value the extra meeting time, the professional photograph, or if meeting a particular guest could make or break your convention, then The Legend Pass may be for you.
