TFNation is a celebration of all things Transformers, classic and contemporary! That means that our guests span the entire timeline of the franchise, and include some of the cornerstones of its visual identity.
In 2025, The Transformers are ready to change modes once more, into the pocket-ready mobile game PUBG MOBILE! The Transformers collaboration (Available from July 8) is set to bring a whole new level of excitement to PUBG MOBILE. Players can activate the Cybertron Beacon to summon either Optimus Prime or Megatron and engage in epic duels within dedicated arenas on Erangel. We can think of no better guest to help welcome and review this new era of the Cybertronians, than the generation-spanning comic book artist, Andrew Wildman!
Wildman has been active in the Transformers art scene since the days of Marvel in the 1980s, and hasn’t really stopped since – though he has taken many side paths, working on properties such as Doctor Who, Luther, Poldark, Horrid Henry, The Alienist, and more, as storyboard artist and production designer.
Most recently, he has returned to the Transformers, working alongside Skybound on their new, Transformers Compendium Kickstarter edition, which was fully funded in just two minutes!
Wildman's creator-owned works, the psychological coming of age tale Horizon and sci-fi mystery Oxygen, have been incredibly well received, and also just so happen to feature a robot or two for good measure!
