Dear TFNationals,
The days before TFNation bring with them great excitement! Today though, it would be appreciated if you’d please allow us to give you a slightly less-Transformery, more serious update from TFN:HQ.
In recent days there have been several reported incidents of civil unrest in different parts of the UK, which we know will be on the minds of some attendees.
In anticipation of your arrival at TFNation, we’ve taken some time to reach out to numerous hotels around our home, including of course, the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, where several members of the TFNation crew are already busy working away.
The conversations we’ve had have been clear – today has been a quiet, “business as usual” day in the area.
We imagine the self-contained nature of the surrounding area, compared to the largely residential locations where issues have arisen, is a significant difference which should bring some comfort to our attendees.
Of course, whilst it’s business as usual for TFNation, we’d always remind attendees to be aware of their surroundings and make sensible travel decisions. Sharing your travel plans with friends, for instance is always a good idea (and something we on the crew do regularly).
As ever we’re here to assist if you have any concerns and cannot wait to welcome you to our convention – a place where ALL are one.
