We have yet another Transformers comics-sourced guest joining us in Birmingham this summer! TFNation 2019 is happy to announce the attendance of writer, artist and colourist John-Paul Bove!
Another of the UK's biggest talents and resources when it comes to our favourite transforming robots, Bove was a fan of the early Marvel UK days and a significant presence in the Transformers: Mosaic fan (and semi-professional) one-shot project. He then carried his colouring works to the main comics, working on IDW titles such as Devastation, Drift - Empire of Stone, Deviations and the continuation of the Marvel UK storylines (with the original creative team) ReGeneration One. Most recently, he has been tasked with recolouring all of the original Transformers UK black and white strips and pages for the Hachette project Transformers: The Definitive G1 Collection.
Bove has also contributed his writing skills to the franchise, with the BotCon 2016 Dawn of the Predacus one-shot comic, and ventured into the creator-owned world of comics with Unearth (with Conor Boyle). He can also be seen in comics series such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Panini UK), G.I. Joe, and Doctor Who.
